Urakuen Garden and Joan Teahouse

Close to Inuyama Castle is a beautiful and peaceful Japanese garden, Urakuen. Within the garden is the Joan Teahouse. Designed by a master of tea ceremonies Oda Uraku, Joan is one if the three best teahouses in Japan. It was built in 1816 in Kyoto, and was moved to Inuyama in 1972.
