Narita-san Temple
This red-painted temple complex is visited by many tourists and Buddhist worshippers. It can easily be reached on foot from Inuyama Castle and gives a good view of the Kiso River and even as far as Nagoya on clear days. It was built in 1953 as a Temple of Shingon Buddhism. Sometimes Buddhist priests can be heard chanting within.
