CICASP will be conducting all of its entrance examinations online. Keeping to the dates listed in the application guidelines, exams will be held the first week of November (2nd through 6th) with two additional days if necessary (9th and 10th). Details regarding the exam will be provided to each applicant well in advance of their examination. However, expect all examinations that were previously in written format (General Biology and Specialty Exams) to be conducted orally instead.
Though the details are currently not finalized, CICASP is expecting to conduct its entrance examinations for both doctoral and master's level applicants in fall 2020, following the nirmal schedule (application deadline October 1, testing in early November). Please stay updated on this site and by communication with the CICASP office if you are interested in applying. Our goal will be to allow for examinations to take place in a safe manner to reduce any risks associated with the pandemic.
Given that the COVID-19 pandemic has significantly constrained international mobility, and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future, CICASP has reluctantly decided to cancel all examinations for the International Course in Primatology and Wildlife Research at the master's level in June 2020. Therefore, we are no longer accepting applications for this examination. As a result, your pre-application will now be declined.
Applications will continue to be accepted for the doctoral course during April 2020, for an examination via online video conferencing in early June.
We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. We encourage you to apply during the next application period later this year. Applications will be accepted between September 1 and October 1, with an examination date in early November (to be announced). We look forward to receiving your applications later this year for enrollment in April 2021.
