Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in Science

With globalization and changes in social attitudes, the communities in which we live and work are becoming increasingly diverse. In academic environments, how can we (as researchers, teachers, students, administrators, institutions, etc.) make sure that all members of our teams and communities—with their varied attributes, identities, and backgrounds—thrive and maximally contribute toward common goals? In this two-part series, we will explore answers to this question and chart a more just future for science.
